The T-light holder has a hook for hanging, or it is stable enough to stand on the table or side if you prefer. The little hatch opens to allow a T-light candle to be placed inside the t light holder tray which is positioned inside the main body. Each T-light holder has cut out sections that allow the light to shine through.
