Recycled Metal Sculptures - African Creations.

These sculptures have been hand crafted in Zimbabwe from recycled metal. They are mostly made up of mild steel and galvenised steel. Your sculpture has been coated by us with a clear lacquer.

To help prevent weathering we recommend that you re-coat with a clear coat lacquer (every 6 months) or an exterior varnish. (annually)

1.Ensure the metal is clean and dry.  You can easily remove any rust spots with a wire brush or wire wool, brush or wipe off any dust

2.Use your product of choice. If using a spray lacquer, we recommend that you give your sculpture a couple of coats, allowing a few minutes for each coat to dry. If you prefer to use varnish this can be brushed on to the sculpture. If using yacht varnish we suggest adding some thinners to the varnish before applying.
